First you need the building

When I worked (one season) at the Maryland Renaissance Festival I was asked (often) if the buildings were permanent or if we built them anew every year. *insert rolling of eyes here. "Actually", we replied, "they're inflatable. We just unload the building from the car and inflate it once we get here." Ask a dumb question...

So, what to do when you actually need a transportable building (as in the case of the Merry Merlin)? Besides an actual transportable building (I've seen pictures), I'd like one of these Soul Pad canvas tents.  Aren't they pretty? And for the size you can get, they're relatively inexpensive. I love the tribal nomad look they have. Ok, ok, so tribal nomad and English pub don't go together...but for the sake of "oooh that's cool", go along with me. :D

Soon I'll post information on transportable buildings and how other groups have converted tents into taverns.

Bye!
